Mark Hayward
Licensed Massage Therapist, MA59286
Professional Background
I have worked as a licensed massage therapist since 2010, and hold certifications in Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Swedish massage. This work has been deeply rewarding and life changing. I have also received my level 1 Craniosacral Therapy certification from the renowned Upledger Institute International. Helping others move toward greater well-being is what inspires my practice and fuels my continued growth. I am committed to a holistic approach to health and wellness, and that commitment has become a true passion.
Specialties and Clinical Experience
Early in my career, I worked in a clinical setting alongside a chiropractor and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, which led me to specialize in Medical Massage. Drawing on extensive training and years of hands-on experience, I blend Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Trigger Point Therapy in each session. I also incorporate Swedish techniques to provide these therapies in a deeply relaxing way. Combined with Craniosacral Therapy, this creates a comprehensive therapeutic experience for clients.
Individualized Care
Each person’s needs and condition can change over time, so I tailor every session to support the whole person. Because healing is highly individual, treatments are customized rather than one-size- fits-all, and sessions often vary based on what the client needs that day.
Strength and Wellness Coaching
I bring this same individualized approach to my Strength and Conditioning classes, using corrective exercises to address chronic musculoskeletal imbalances. I also developed the Foundation Fitness Program, a three-phase system that starts with deep core activation and builds improved posture, alignment, and mind-body awareness. As a Health Coach and Nutritional Therapist, I help clients make sense of today’s overwhelming health information so they can make informed, sustainable choices. I also work with them to create practical wellness plans tailored to their daily lives.
Qigong and Meditation
I have practiced Qigong and meditation for more than two decades. These disciplines have provided meaningful personal health benefits and add depth to my massage therapy work. I offer both private and group instruction in this healing tradition. My training comes from an authentic Chinese lineage spanning twenty-seven generations. The forms I share are designed to improve balance, coordination, and the release of energetic blockages. I offer guidance and support for ongoing Qigong and meditation practices.
My goal is to help clients create a lasting lifestyle of well-being.
